DESCRIPTION

Under supervision, perform a variety of operations involved in driving and parking vehicles for guests. The duties includes and are not limited to maintaining excellent customer service standards; issuing ticket receipts after inspecting and documenting any prior vehicle damage; retrieving vehicles in a timely manner; collecting and securing cash and issue receipts; writing down vehicle information and location on valet ticket; tagging and maintaining keys; and performing other duties as assigned. Ensures that appropriate service standards are maintained with all front-line staff. Ensures that visitor issues are resolved to meet the service expectations of UC San Diego Health. Performs additional duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies / procedures, and / or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.
• Relevant experience required.
• Must be able to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Skills, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range : $44,516 - $57,545 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent : $21.32 - $27.56
