Job Description : Java with Camunda (Lead / Architect)

Location : Plano, TX (Onsite)

Experience Required : 14+ years

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Lead / Architect with Camunda expertise to design and deliver enterprise-grade financial applications. The ideal candidate will have strong architecture and solution design experience, coupled with deep expertise in Java, Camunda BPM, Spring Boot, and cloud-native deployments on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Development

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications using Camunda BPM, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Vue.js .

  • Define architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and best practices for large-scale financial applications.
  • Develop and optimize scalable, secure RESTful APIs for integration with front-end systems, third-party platforms, and microservices.
  • Database & Cloud

    • Architect and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries , ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance.

  • Deploy, scale, and monitor applications in Microsoft Azure , while ensuring cost optimization and high availability.
  • DevOps & Testing

    • Implement CI / CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.

  • Conduct automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Security & Performance

    • Implement OAuth 2.0 authentication , enforce enterprise-grade security standards, and handle JSON-based data exchange.

  • Configure logging frameworks ( Log4j, SLF4J ) and set up application monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana .
  • Optimize front-end performance using build tools such as Grunt and Gulp .
  • Microservices & Workflow Automation

    • Design and implement domain-driven microservices architectures .

  • Leverage Camunda BPM for workflow and decision automation, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

    • Must-Have Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in Java , with strong architecture and solution design background.
  • Hands-on expertise with Camunda BPM (workflow & decision automation).
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Vue.js, and RESTful API development .
  • Advanced PostgreSQL design, optimization, and query tuning skills.
  • Proven track record with Azure cloud deployments and monitoring .
  • Deep understanding of microservices patterns, domain-driven design, and enterprise architecture principles .
  • Strong experience with CI / CD, OAuth 2.0, and enterprise security practices .
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain (highly preferred).
