City Park Homes is actively seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager / Senior Bookkeeper (Residential Construction) with proven experience in residential construction accounting and land development finance. Based in McKinney, Texas, this full-time, on-site role is pivotal to our growing organization. You'll handle end-to-end bookkeeping functions using QuickBooks and Hyphen Solutions BRIX, manage accounts payable / receivable, and provide detailed financial reporting. As our company expands, this role offers the opportunity to evolve into a Comptroller-level leadership position, contributing directly to the company's financial strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the COO with all financial data management and reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy across all accounting functions.
• Oversee all Accounts Payable (A / P) and Accounts Receivable (A / R) processes, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls.
• Perform journal entries, manage the general ledger, and ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Process construction payables and subcontractor invoices weekly, ensuring accurate job cost coding and compliance with lien waivers and insurance requirements.
• Generate financial reports, job cost summaries, and cash flow forecasts to support management decision-making.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks with precision and confidentiality.
• Act as a liaison with the CPA firm for audits, tax preparation, and financial strategy.
• Manage and improve internal accounting procedures and workflows for greater efficiency.
• Provide leadership in the hiring, training, and development of future accounting team members as the company continues to grow.
