Job Position : Crew Member (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Compensation : $16.50 - $18.00 hourly

The primary responsibilities of a Crew Member are to provide customer service in various departments and put away freight. The Crew member will focus on operational aspect of the store, primarily dealing with product loadouts, cutting of wood and PVC pipe, building BBQs and Patio furniture, and providing other helpful services to visiting customers. Other responsibilities include covering the sales for assistance, covering the registers, and helping with local deliveries.

Major Responsibilities

The major responsibilities for this position include :

Greet customers by asking them the magic question : What can I help you find today?

Cut glass, keys, rope, tubing, wire, and wood

Build product including screens

Put away freight

Assist with aisle management including down stocking, fronting and facing, cleaning

Assist customers if all other associates are currently helping other customers

Make deliveries

Assist with heavy items and load-outs of lumber, soil, concrete, etc.

The minimum requirements for this position include :

Education / Training : High School degree

A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction

Ability to communicate with associates and customers

Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills with a strong willingness to learn

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business

The minimum physical requirements for this position include :

Ability to stand for an extended period of time

Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth

Ability to lift 60 lbs regularly

Valid Drivers License, must be insurable
