Duties
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that align with Georgia Pre-K standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Assess and monitor students' progress and provide feedback to parents and administrators.
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to ensure the effective delivery of educational programs.
- Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers to foster a strong home-school connection.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Nice To Haves
Certification : Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification in Early Childhood Education.
Experience : Experience with the Frog Street Curriculum or other comprehensive early childhood education curriculums.
Tech Skills : Proficiency in educational technology and software used in early childhood education.
Bilingual : Ability to speak a second language, particularly Spanish, to better communicate with diverse families.
First Aid / CPR : Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.
Professional Development : Ongoing participation in early childhood education workshops and seminars.
