Service Engineer

Pay Range : 90-100K

Location : Longmont, CO

Position Type : Direct Hire

How youll spend your time as a Service Engineer position :

  • Troubleshooting, Calibration, and QA / QC of laser-based optomechanical instrumentation.
  • Interact with customers to troubleshoot, repair, and re-calibrate their existing laser-based optomechanical instrumentation remotely and in the factory.
  • Assist in the development and the documentation of instruments, test plans, wiring schematics, and assembly procedures.
  • Working with the Business Development team to train and assist customers using DMT instrumentation.
  • Some lifting and moving equipment (up to 50lbs).

    • Skills & experience wed like you to have as a Service Engineer :

  • 2+ years of related experience- new Electrical Engineering grads should apply
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (or related)
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in the design, prototyping, and initial testing of PCBs. Experience with Altium a plus.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, cable diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with operation of digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Comfortable working with clients in a professional manner and prioritizing their needs.
  • Willing to travel (
