Job Summary and Qualifications
The Sonographer will perform diagnostic medical ultrasound examinations as requested by referring physicians for in house or out patients, while creating a therapeutic environment for pediatric, adolescent, adult and older adult patients and their families, and carry out functions in a manner consistent with total quality care.
What qualifications you will need :
Education :
Satisfactory completion of formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent experience.
Experience :
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is desirable.
Vascular Experience Preferred
Licensure / Certification :
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Registered or Registry Eligible, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
RVT / RVS within 12 months of hire
Must renew certification and / or registration annually with 30 hours of continuing education for your triennium
Licensed in the State of New Hampshire with the Board of Medical Imaging& Radiation Therapy.
