At least two (2) years’ experience in a legal environment helpful. Skills : Familiarity with business and legal applications such as Aderant, CPi, Access, IPDAS, ClaimMaster, Patent Bots, iManage Work, Zoom, BestAuthorty, SnagIt, LAW, Relativity, One-Hub, Client portals. Familiarity with video conference equipment, projectors, speakers and phone bridge. Strong Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Occasional travel ( Overtime may be required. Work with top-tier intellectual property professionals in a dynamic legal environment. About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Trainer to join our IT team in Troy, MI. In this role, you’ll design and deliver engaging training programs that empower attorneys and staff to use technology effectively. From onboarding new hires to rolling out advanced legal applications, you’ll play a key role in enhancing efficiency and supporting our mission to deliver world-class client service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs for staff and attorneys across the firm.
- Create and maintain training materials, including tutorials, and multimedia resources.
- Provide orientation and technology training for new hires.
- Conduct training sessions on tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, time entry systems, intellectual property applications, and other specialized legal applications.
- Support IT initiatives by assisting with software testing, deployment, and user adoption.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve curriculum.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree; or at least two (2) years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
