Opportunity : RN - Med Surg Orthopedic Job Details : Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM 26-week assignment length 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission) Weekend requirements : every other weekend as required by facility No call requirements 30-bed orthopedic unit with 1 : 6 patient ratios Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation 2 years orthopedic inpatient experience required Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri Required certifications : BLS from AHA Preferred certifications : ACLS from AHA Use EPIC electronic medical records system Care for medical patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities Dress code : black scrubs only Flu vaccination required November 1 - April 1 with no declinations accepted Physical demands include standing / walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting with assistance Must demonstrate teamwork, dependability, and flexibility Facility : This healthcare facility has been serving the South County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
