Job Description

Job Title : Cardiology Technologist (Cath Lab / Stress Lab / Nuclear Stress Lab)

Location : Baltimore, Maryland

Pay : $3,200.00 / week

Shift : Day Shift – 8s (7 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM)

Schedule :

  • 4×10-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM)
  • Day off will vary
  • On-call required
  • Contract Length : 13 Weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours : Yes

Job Description

The Cardiology Technologist is responsible for assisting physicians in the performance of various cardiology-related diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role supports multiple cardiology areas, including the Cath Lab, Stress Lab, and Nuclear Stress Lab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cardiology procedures such as :
  • Left Heart Cath
  • Right Heart Cath
  • PCI
  • IABP Insertion
  • Pericardiocentesis
  • Swan-Ganz Insertion
  • Stress Testing
  • Nuclear Stress Testing
  • Implantable Loop Recorder procedures
  • Perform in varied roles across cardiology units, including :
  • Radiology Technologist
  • Documenter
  • Stress Lab Assistant
  • Nuclear Stress Lab Assistant
  • Ensure accuracy in documentation and patient workflow
  • Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards
  • Support efficient operation across all cardiology departments

    • Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year occupationally specific program or an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • RT(R) registration required (RCIS acceptable)
  • CPR and ACLS certifications required
  • NASPE certification is a plus
