Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Corpus Christi, TX 78412 (Texas healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting : Main Hospital – Operating Room (OR)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : 10-hour days (07 : 00 – 17 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1750–$1870

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1

On-Call : Rotating every other weekend

Scrubs : Provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas RN license or compact state license accepted)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR nurse experience required)

CNOR certification preferred

Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech experience preferred)

Strong clinical skills, high energy, and a motivated personality

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a high-volume OR

Assist with diverse surgical procedures : general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, and spine

Work collaboratively with surgeons, surgical technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR

Participate in rotating on-call schedule and provide weekend coverage as needed

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards
