[job_card.job_description]Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Minimum 4 years of related experience Strong understanding of internal auditing standards and practices Proficiency in auditing tools, accounting software, and data analytics platforms Working knowledge of healthcare billing and reimbursement processes, particularly related to Medicare and Medicaid Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead and execute complex internal audits Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning Assist in developing and executing the annual audit plan Conduct risk-based internal audits Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations Utilize data analytics tools to enhance audits Provide oversight to sales tax recovery for taxable items Provide guidance and support to junior audit staff
Senior Internal Audit Analyst - Permanent Hire
The Senior Internal Audit Analyst plays a critical role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across the health system. This role conducts risk-based audits, analyzes financial and operational data, identifies control gaps, and provides actionable recommendations to enhance efficiency and compliance.
