[job_card.job_description]Assist the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and supervising daily field operations. Monitor job site safety and enforce company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific requirements. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure smooth workflow. Oversee quality control, including inspections, punch lists, and adherence to project specifications. Track progress and report to the Superintendent and Project Manager on schedules, manpower, and materials. Support project documentation, including daily logs, reports, and updates to schedules. Help resolve on-site issues or conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and contractual requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times. Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients. 2–5 years of construction field experience, with exposure to residential projects. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and safety standards. Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Must possess valid / active driver’s license Bonus : experience building in the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood Full-time, project-based position with work primarily on active construction sites. Requires regular standing, walking, and lifting on site. May involve extended hours and weekend work depending on project needs.

Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent supports the Superintendent in coordinating on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Projects primarily consist of mixed-use multifamily developments located in the West Hollywood area. This role provides day-to-day oversight of field operations, subcontractors, and quality control, while fostering strong communication between the project team, subcontractors and vendors.
