A company is looking for a Data Platform Engineer (Staff / Sr Staff).

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement data cataloging infrastructure for data discovery and understanding

Build lineage capabilities to trace data provenance and flow through systems

Create self-serve tooling to facilitate easy access to data for teams

Required Qualifications :

7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data infrastructure

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

Experience with modern data stack components such as Databricks or Spark

Familiarity with data cataloging and lineage tools

Experience with orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow
