Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team remotely. As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasting financial performance.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Analysis and Insights: Analyze financial data to provide insights into company performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Certifications: CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
