Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities : -Experience with system / software design for cloud-based microservice architecture-Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP)-Familiarity with operating systems (, Linux, Windows)-Experience with virtualization technologies (, VMware, Hyper-V)-Ground system design or scheduling knowledge-Tracking mission design knowledge-Satellite communications knowledge-Ground to satellite communication knowledge-Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies-Experience with systems design, integration, and validation-Proficiency in requirements analysis and system architecture design-Understanding of DevOps principles and practices-Experience with automation tools (, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)-Experience with cloud platforms (, AWS, Azure, GCP)-Knowledge of infrastructure as code (, Terraform, CloudFormation)-Security and Compliance-Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST and ISO 27001-Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in documenting system designs, configurations, and procedures-Proficiency in systems engineering including decomposing requirements into architecture, interfaces, and design behavior, experience with ground pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and satellite / payload situational awareness, experience tracking IR payload or ground mission data transport, handling, and analysis, experience decomposing high-level space-ground systems design into ground software and systems design-Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw-Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling-Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment-Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications-Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef Required Education and Experience : Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
