A company is looking for a Care Manager, BH - Remote (Louisiana license required).
Key Responsibilities
Authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services in inpatient and outpatient settings
Assist with discharge planning and care coordination while providing member assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues
Participate in quality improvement activities, including data collection, tracking, and analysis
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Current licensure in Louisiana as CEAP, LMSW, LCSW, LSW, LPC, or RN
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings
Knowledge of utilization management procedures and community resources for mental health and substance abuse
Experience in inpatient and / or outpatient care settings
Understanding of DSM V or the most current diagnostic edition
