Inventory Clerk : Dakota, Illinois

Our customer in Dakota, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team to work full-time on 1st shift. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting all departments with inventory needs to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Clerk :

• Complete monthly, weekly, and daily lists of inventory cycle counts.
• Assist all departments in locating requested items with Warehouse Manager approval.
• Support physical inventory processes and participate in total inventory counts.
• Conduct cycle counts in offices and warehouses.
• Exchange or return expired products as required.
• Monitor inventory levels using ROSS ERP and related devices, correcting errors as needed.
• Lead inventory initiatives, process improvements, and streamlined procedures.
• Utilize reports to maintain proper inventory levels and make adjustments.
• Assist in training inventory specialists on ROSS ERP and hand scanners.
• Ensure expired products are monitored and reported.
• Direct and advise daily activities of inventory associates.
• Ensure employees perform duties with a high degree of safety, service, and quality.
• Provide training, feedback, and development for inventory associates.
• Ensure raw materials are available to meet facility production needs.
• Escalate performance issues to management when necessary.

Inventory Clerk Requirements and Qualifications :

Pay for Inventory Clerk : $15.50–$17.00 / hour

Inventory Clerk Benefits :

Type : 1st Shift, Full-time

Schedule : Monday – Friday
