Role Responsibilities

The Practice Manager plays a critical leadership role in hospital operations and veterinary team management. This position ensures a positive culture built on shared values and direct communication, creates operational efficiencies, and problem-solves to improve client service and employee engagement. Key to the PM’s role is the ability to create and maintain a positive culture and work environment aligned with the hospital’s goals. This person is creative yet grounded in developing and implementing practical programs that drive results. The Practice Manager oversees all business and administrative activities of the hospital, including :

• Recruiting, hiring, and training veterinary hospital staff
• Partnering with leadership and finance to prepare and manage budgets
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Managing inventory and inventory control systems
• Setting and reviewing hospital service fees
• Overseeing hospital management software and technology
• Implementing safety, compliance, and security procedures
