Accounts Payable Processor

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Processor in Arlington, VA.Summary : The Accounts Payable (AP) Processor is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements. This role supports the full AP cycle, maintains vendor relationships, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• 2-4+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes, accounting principles, and internal controls
• Proficiency with ERP / accounting software and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred :

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
