Regional Director of Operations

As our Regional Director of Operations , you will take charge of the operational success of 710 branded hotels across the Midwest and Western U.S. Youll be the operational heartbeat of the region, partnering with property leaders to optimize performance, enhance service excellence, and ensure each hotel delivers exceptional guest experiences. Through data-driven insights, strong cross-functional collaboration, and bold problem-solving, youll help maximize profitability and maintain consistency across the portfolio.
You will report directly to the Company President or Senior Operations Executive, working closely with revenue management, sales, marketing, and corporate teams. While this role does not have direct supervisory reports, you will play a crucial leadership role by guiding and influencing property teams in a remote setting.
Responsibilities That Make an Impact
Champion operational excellence at each hotel by ensuring alignment with brand standards, company values, and service-driven culture.Partner with General Managers to strengthen financial performance, improve guest satisfaction, and deliver top-tier service.Monitor and analyze key operational KPIsGOP, labor, service scores, QAto identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.Conduct property visits to assess performance, provide hands-on support, and lead on-site operational reviews.Collaborate closely with revenue and sales teams to ensure seamless alignment between operations and commercial strategy.Lead engaging operations meetings that inspire action, accountability, and cross-functional success.Support annual budgeting and forecasting to ensure targets are both achievable and strategically aligned.Build strong, trust-based relationships with property owners by communicating clearly, proactively, and professionally.Use technology and data platforms to enhance operational efficiency and elevate decision-making.Coach and mentor property teams to strengthen leadership capabilities and operational culture.Uphold the highest professional standards that reflect Dhillon Hotels values and brand expectations.Required Skills & Experience
Must have hands-on experience working with IHG, Marriott, Hilton, and Best Western brands.Minimum 4 years of progressive hotel operations leadership , preferably with regional or multi-property oversight.Strong understanding of branded systems and operational processes across major hotel chains.Familiarity with Midwest markets or the ability to quickly learn new regional dynamics.Proven success improving operational KPIs across multiple hotels.Experience implementing technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and performance.Exceptional relationship-building skills with internal teams, external partners, and owners.Ability to travel up to 25% , including overnight and regional travel.Youll Excel in This Role If :
