Scientist II

A company is looking for a Scientist II to manage the development of analytic pipelines for assays and support data analysis for rare disease cases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of interpretation pipelines for new tests using various sequencing methods

Supervise and coordinate projects with R&D team members and other departments

Research and assess new technologies and software for potential implementation in assays

Required Qualifications

M.D. or Ph.D. in molecular biology, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, or related field

2+ years of postdoctoral training plus professional experience

Strong knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, and assay interpretation

Experience with bioinformatics pipelines for sequencing data

Proficient in high performance computing and cloud computing platforms
