- Salary Range : $83,200.00 - $93,184.00
Key Responsibilities :
Implement physician orders, administer medications, and document treatment in accordance with policies and regulations.Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to understand patients' conditions.Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.Utilize critical nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.Provide emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.Administer medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs.Collaborate with the nursing team to develop personalized Plans of Care for patients.Guide and supervise ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree).Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is mandatory.1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.Understanding of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply problem-solving techniques effectively.Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center!
