The External Games team Technical Director will work as part of the External Games leadership team to support delivering external developer partners' games successfully to our members. The ideal candidate is excited to leverage broad games engineering leadership and strategic experience partnering with producers, business development, and our internal Netflix product and technology teams.
An ideal team member has a deep understanding of the technology considerations having collaborated on multi-discipline teams to build and release a wide variety of games with both client and backend/live service considerations as well as their implications to business, production, and design. This leader will get deeply involved in numerous efforts, including but not limited to developer partner and project due diligence and deal signing, service and platform integrations, influence, and game and portfolio health; previous experience in similar roles in publishing-oriented organizations is also ideal.
