Acro is partnering with the Kansas City, MO, to recruit a dynamic leader to oversee the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation. This is a high-impact executive role shaping public safety, rehabilitation, and strategic operational leadership for the city.
What Youāll Lead :
- Citywide correctional & rehabilitation operations
- Strategic planning, policy development, & fiscal management
- Workforce leadershipābuilding a high-performing, trauma-informed team
- Partnerships with courts, law enforcement, healthcare & community agencies
- Compliance with ACA, NCCHC & Missouri Jail Standards
What You Bring :
š¹ 10+ years in corrections, law enforcement, or public-sector leadership
š¹ 5+ years in a senior executive role
š¹ Strong background in organizational leadership, behavioral health, and modern correctional practices
š¹ Bachelorās required; Masterās preferred
š¹ Valid driverās license & ability to pass background / psychological screening
