Public Finance Investment Banking Analyst

We are currently looking for an Public Finance Investment Banking Analyst to join the team in Seattle, WA.

Our public finance group provides underwriting and financial advisory services to state & local governments and not-for-profit entities. Supported by a broad national platform, our expert teams leverage localized knowledge to facilitate the issuance of taxable and tax-exempt debt across a range of sectors including state & local government, charter schools, cultural & social service nonprofits, healthcare, higher education, hospitality, project finance, K-12 school districts, senior living, special district group, and transportation. Responsibilities :

• Work on financing community projects with clients such as school districts, cities, counties, universities, utility districts, state agencies
• Research client debt load, local economy, financial strengths
• Develop models to structure and optimize debt transactions
• Prepare analyses on client outstanding debt, future debt capacity and credit profile
• Assist with marketing to new clients. Prepare presentations for financing proposals and new business development
• Prepare disclosure documents for bond sales
• Prepare presentations to bond rating agencies
• Assist with conference and event planning
• Interact with clients and other financing team members in coordinating transaction details
• Draft responses to request for proposals from municipalities seeking assistance

The anticipated starting salary range for Washington based individuals expressing interest in this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per year. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation. Total compensation for this position will be competitive with the market.
