, Permanent Position : Yard Worker Company Overview : Pick Your Part is a leading automotive recycling company with multiple locations across the United States. Our Tampa, FL location is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. Position Summary : As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our yard, as well as assisting with the processing and inventory of vehicles. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects. Key Responsibilities : - Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the yard by picking up debris, sorting materials, and disposing of waste - Assist with the processing and inventory of vehicles by removing parts, labeling and storing them appropriately - Operate forklifts and other equipment to move vehicles and parts around the yard - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment - Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects efficiently - Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing fences, and general upkeep of the yard Qualifications : - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred - Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods of time - Experience operating forklifts and other equipment is a plus - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicles is a plus - Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Benefits : - Competitive salary - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - 401(k) retirement plan - Opportunities for advancement within the company If you are a hardworking and dedicated individual with a passion for the automotive industry, we encourage you to apply for the Yard Worker position at Pick Your Part in Tampa, FL.
