JOB SUMMARY :

A Sales Department Apprentice will be responsible for... helping a guest become a customer! You are the bridge between the guest and their future vehicle that suits their driving needs and preferences. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the dealership's vehicles and their capabilities. We will teach you the road to the sale, delivery, negotiation and overall, give you the training to be successful so no experience is needed.

Duties and Responsibilities include :

• Learning all the functions of the sales department
• Vehicle inventory merchandising
• Vehicle organization
• Greeting guests arriving at the dealership
• Having knowledge of the dealership's vehicles and explaining their features and warranties to customers
• Answer guest questions about cars, financing and purchase process
• Accompany guests on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices
• Negotiate vehicle prices and trade-in values for guest's vehicle
• Coordinate with the finance department to determine each guest’s financing and ownership options
• Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles

Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel and crouch. Required to sit, climb or balance and taste / smell. Must lift within the parameters of the responsibility of the job. Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Working both indoors and outdoors.
