Schedule: Full-Time | Shift Type: Day, Evening, Night Position Overview Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a partner's team at a hospital in Apple Valley, CA. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities in a patient-focused environment.

The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with radiologists and other technologists, serving as a customer service representative to patients and their families. This is a pivotal role that requires a commitment to quality control, performance improvement, and maintaining flexibility with job assignments and shifts to meet the department's needs.

Qualifications

Required: • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program. • Current California Radiologic Technologist license. • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification. • National Registered Technologist - Radiography (ARRT-R). • Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).

Preferred: • 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Excellence • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards and utilizing age-specific criteria. • Serve as a customer service representative to patients, their families, and the medical staff. • Serve as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists.

Operational Oversight • Participate in a call schedule and remain flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs.

Quality Improvement & Compliance • Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
