Facilities Maintenance Technician- Westford, MA

Westford, MA | $30-$35 / hr | 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer for a 1st shift position from 7am-3 : 30pm. You will focus on preventative maintenance of RTUs and mechanical / HVAC systems to ensure optimal building operations. An ideal candidate will be someone with 3-4 years of experience doing commercial maintenance with strong skill in HVAC.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.

Troubleshoot and repair various building systems including alarms, filters, motors, and belts.

Conduct maintenance and repairs across all trades with a focus on mechanical and HVAC systems.

Assist with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks as needed.

Utilize CMMS for managing work orders efficiently.

Support with handling minor carpentry and drywall repairs.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in facilities maintenance, particularly in mechanical and HVAC systems.

Experience with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Ability to handle building maintenance and repair tasks.

Knowledge of CMMS systems for work order management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with electrical and plumbing systems is advantageous.

Familiarity with carpentry and hand tools.

Understanding of working with alarms, filters, motors, and RTUs.

Work Environment

The position is based in a quiet 300,000 square foot facility, which includes four labs and office space. With only 200 people on site daily, there is plenty of space and a peaceful atmosphere to work in.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
