Job Summary
Accurately analyzes and reanalyze medical records in Cerner and meet established productivity standards based upon record type
Essential Functions
Accurately facilitates the medical staff chart completion process by assisting physicians and other hospital staff.
Informing the physicians of their incomplete charts by timely notification to them by email, fax, calls and mailing letter.
Performs quality control to ensure the integrity, completeness, and legibility of scanned patient records.
Notifies the Medical Staff office when a physician is removed from suspension list.
Create excel spreadsheet of physician’s incomplete charts on a weekly basis.
Provide routine information in a courteous, timely and efficient manner to the director.
Accurately removes any completed chart from the system as well as ensures accuracy of existing deficiencies when updating.
Provide spreadsheet from the DNFB report of Inpatient, Outpatient, Emergency room, and Same Day Service to the Revenue Cycle Daily Work Session Team daily.
Performs other duties as assigned in a positive manner that promotes teamwork and the best interests of the organization.
Minimum Education/Certifications
High School Diploma
Minimum Work Experience
Preferred experience in Health Information Management.
Work in a timely manner; be accurate and detail oriented.
Needs to be able to work in a team.
Strong computer skills.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Must be willing to work holidays, weekends and provide additional coverage as needed.

The salary/hourly rate range for this position is: $20-$25
