Utilization Management Coordinator

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Intake Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a liaison for durable home medical requests and manage referral documentation

Process incoming calls and ensure accurate data entry for home medical equipment referrals

Generate reports for utilization activities and document inpatient admissions with proper coding

Required Qualifications

High School graduate required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Three years of office-related experience, with at least two years in a health-related field

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Familiarity with managed care, claims processing, and relevant coding (CPT & ICD-9)

Knowledge of utilization management and HCFA regulations
