System Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a System Engineer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL(Remote). Candidates must have deep expertise in datacenter infrastructure and third-line technical support to lead M&A platform engineering initiatives.

Rate Range : $44 / hour to $45 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Provide third-line technical support across diverse platforms including Citrix, VMware, Windows Server, and SAN storage systems.
• Lead technical planning and execution for M&A infrastructure projects, acting as the SME for datacenter disciplines.
• Design and implement high-availability infrastructure solutions, including disaster recovery and site security.
• Conduct root cause analysis and incident resolution for complex IT issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with global teams to develop technical documentation, including high-level and low-level designs.
• Support BAU operations by troubleshooting escalated issues, mentoring peers, and maintaining system performance.

Pay Details : $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
