Job Summary:
As a Service Writer, you'll be the first point of contact for service customers. You'll help schedule repairs, write up service orders, and communicate between the customer and our service technicians to make sure jobs are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their service needs
• Open repair orders and gather all necessary vehicle and customer information
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper diagnostics and repair timelines
• Keep customers informed of repair status and estimated completion times
• Review completed work with customers and close out service tickets
• Handle warranty claims and coordinate parts needs with the parts department
• Maintain clear and accurate service records

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a service writer or service advisor in the commercial truck, diesel, or heavy-duty equipment industry preferred
• Basic knowledge of diesel truck systems and common repairs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using service software and computer systems
• Valid driver’s license
