Location : Florida

Schedule : Full-Time (5 days per week)

Salary : $150,000.00 - $200,000.00

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Travel Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with experience in Pulmonology to join our team and support patients in the Patient Health Management (PHM) program. As a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions
• Diagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors
• Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
• Perform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysis
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage
