A company is looking for a DBA / DataOps Engineer to support a global non-profit organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support, monitor, and maintain database systems and integrations in a multi-cloud environment
Provide production and operational support by managing a daily JIRA queue
Perform routine DBA tasks, including index maintenance and managing backup and recovery processes
Required Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in a Database Administrator, Data Engineer, or equivalent role
Deep knowledge of SQL and SQL Server, with a strong understanding of query / execution plans
Significant hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure platform
Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for data quality and automation
Hands-on experience with Airflow and dbt
