Security Officer - Hospital Patrols

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrols in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible, and delivering exceptional customer service through strong communication skills. Pay Rate : $15.40 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences in accordance with client and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with security-related questions and provide directions or assistance as needed within the healthcare location.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
  • Participate in ongoing training and site-specific drills to remain prepared for emergency response and evolving client needs.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
