WHAT IS EXETER JOB CORPS ACADEMY?
We support the Job Corps program’s mission to teach eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and place them in meaningful jobs or further education. Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding, Electronics Engineering, and Patient Care.
EMPLOYMENT AT EXETER JOB CORPS
Employment at Exeter Job Corps is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, employment verification, education verification, professional reference check and motor vehicle record check.
Here is the available schedule for this role :
Monday-Friday, 7 : 45am-4 : 45pm
Salary : $37,000 annually
JOB DUTIES :
Conducts effective classroom instruction and evaluates student performance
Provides remedial support and guidance for students to successfully complete the Career Preparation Period (CPP) requirements
Evaluates and assesses students’ readiness to transition to their chosen trade
Responsible to provide students with comprehensive and individualized case management ensuring student progress, retention and completion of the Job Corps program
Establishes supportive / mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment and provides personal and career counseling
Routinely evaluates and documents student performance using the case management system
Ensures the classroom is organized, clean, safe and conducive to student / staff success
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required
Bachelor's Degree preferred for advancement opportunities
Experience instructing youths preferred
Must possess a valid in-state Driver’s License and meet the Company insurability requirements.
