Trial - Litigation Attorney

Must be licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. Do you have a successful track record representing clients and are interested in mentoring the next generation of legal professionals? Our firm is seeking an experienced senior attorney who is adept at handling a large caseload and familiar with all aspects of the trial process, particularly drafting pleadings, motions, notices, and working toward a resolution.

$150,000 - $300,000 yearly

• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings
• Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses

• Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
• Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
• At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney
