LPN

Overview

Christian Care Fellowship Square is looking for an LPN/ PRN 6am-6pm to join our team! As a LPN, you will be working in our Skilled, Short Stay and Rehabilitation Nursing Center facility.

One of your main duties will be to develop a healthy and efficient work environment with happy and motivated employees whose main goal is to provide the best care possible for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Rescords on a timely basis all medications/treatments administered, including reasons for and effect of PRN medications.
• Documents on the nurse's notes significant observations regarding the resident's needs for and/or response to medications/treatment.
• Stores medications in a safe manner and accounts for all controlled substances through accurate recording.
• Orders, stores, and administers tube feedings.
• Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings, including behavioral health facilities, laboratories, and clinics
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Assist patients with special needs and ensure their comfort and safetyAdhere to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases
• Lift and transfer patients as needed
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner to document patient information accurately

Qualifications

• Valid license as a Vocational Nurse in the state of AZ.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other healthcare software
• LVN/LPN License (Required)
• Must be a graduate of an approved school for licensed practical nursing or registered nursing
• Must hold a current, valid license in the State of Arizona and have an understanding of DHS rules.
• Previous experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
• Minimum of 2 year experience.
