Area Customer Service Coordinator

Position Overview : Under the direction of the Enterprise Services Manager (ESM) or Area Operations Manager (AOM), the Area Customer Service Coordinator supports the daily operations, implementations, and administration of all Managed Services Accounts within an assigned operational area. This role provides critical operational support by assisting onsite teams, ensuring service excellence, and maintaining Ricoh standards across multiple customer sites.
The position involves frequent travel within a designated area to cover customer locations as needed due to absences, training, or new account implementations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support daily operations for all contracted services at customer sites within a defined geographical area.
- Assist management with process improvements, procedural testing, and compliance validation.
- Support implementation of new customer accounts and service expansions.
- Help onboard and cross-train new team members; assist in developing Site Procedure Guides.
- Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with Ricoh standards and customer safety policies.
- Act as an onsite resource during team member absences or vacations, which may include site management responsibilities.
- Provide responsive and professional customer service to resolve inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
- Collect operational data to support Monthly Operations Reviews.
- Create and maintain a customer-focused environment through proactive communication and service excellence.
- Perform duties such as printing, mail processing, toner changes, answering phones, and placing service calls for office equipment.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and walk frequently to deliver mail and supplies.
Required Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.Experience : Minimum of 12 months of related customer service or office support experience.License : Valid, violation-free driver s license and reliable transportation required (40 50-mile travel range).Technical Skills :Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Intermediate computer and file management skills.Other Requirements :Must maintain accurate and timely submission of monthly expense reports.
