Director of Asset Management
The Director of Asset Management will lead the strategic oversight and performance optimization of a rapidly growing industrial portfolio across major Texas markets. This role is critical to driving leasing success and maximizing asset value as the firm expects to lease roughly 1,000,000 SF of industrial space in 2026. The ideal candidate combines deep market knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in industrial development and asset management. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute asset-level business plans, including leasing strategies, capital improvements, and disposition timing.
- Monitor KPIs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to ensure optimal portfolio performance.
- Drive leasing efforts for new developments and existing assets, partnering closely with brokerage teams.
- Negotiate lease terms, manage tenant relationships, and ensure timely occupancy to achieve stabilization targets.
- Oversee marketing initiatives and positioning strategies for speculative and build-to-suit projects.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for operating and capital expenditures.
- Manage reporting to internal stakeholders and capital partners, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with development, construction, and property management teams to align leasing objectives with project timelines.
- Provide guidance on design and site planning to enhance marketability and tenant appeal.
- Maintain deep knowledge of major Texas industrial markets (Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio). DFW exposure most important.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.8+ years of experience in industrial asset management and development, with a strong emphasis on leasing and lease-up.Proven ability to lead teams and manage large-scale portfolios in the industrial sector.Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Established relationships with brokerage networks and tenant representatives in Texas markets.What's on Offer
