An opportunity is available for an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse with a background in EPIC and Trauma care. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center, where patients present with a wide range of urgent medical conditions including trauma, stroke, STEMI, psychosis, and sepsis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and coordinate nursing interventions.
- Administer treatments and procedures such as moderate and deep sedation, ultrasound, intubation, cardioversion, D&Cs, sexual assault exams, CPR, and assist with imminent deliveries.
- Manage complex patient cases including those with substance abuse and co-morbidities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional emergency care.
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication.
Qualifications and Experience :
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Emergency Nursing.Proficiency with EPIC system and trauma care.Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. TNCC preferred.At least 1 year travel nursing experience required if recent EPIC experience.Ability to work night shifts with a 1 : 3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio.Pending nursing licenses accepted if application has been submitted to the licensing board.Shift Details :
Night shift, 3x12-hour rotations (1900 to 0730).Weekend availability required.Floating within the hospital expected; however, no floating to sister hospitals.No call requirement.Location : The position is based in a vibrant community known for its natural beauty and access to outdoor activities.
