General Job Responsibilities :
Diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of adult medical conditions, both acute and chronic, such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create and follow through on individualized patient care plans.Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and assess overall patient health.Administer appropriate treatments and medications.Present patient education health promotion and disease prevention.Provide immediate medical attention for urgent conditions and stabilize patients when necessary.Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.Consult with specialists and make referrals, when necessary.Skills :

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.Residency training program in internal medicine accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).License & Certifications :
Board certification in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).Active and unrestricted medical license in Virginia.Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Experience :
