3-Positions

Receiving and managing referrals directly from Adult Protective Services. Conducting in-depth assessments, identifying client needs, strengths, and self-directed goals. Applying trauma-informed care and client-centered practices. Performing required home visits and maintaining accurate and confidential records. Providing direct support and advocacy, particularly for older adult populations. Will work other work locations as needed. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and comply with AP 2-2 policy.

KNOWLEDGE:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science, such as Sociology, Psychology, Social Work or Counseling.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years of professional experience in counseling or related social services work are required. A Master's degree in a social or behavioral science may be substituted for the experience requirement.

PHYSICAL EFFORT:
The position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions.
PHYSICAL SKILL:
Requires the ability to make simple gross motor responses within large tolerances
