Payroll Supervisor

Essential Duties :
- Utilizes the payroll and time and attendance systems to answer questions, process payroll, review / update information and resolve issues for employees and managers.
- Ensures garnishments are submitted to UKG Pro timely and review all entered garnishments and calculations for accuracy.
- Sets up and processes various earnings and deductions requests / spreadsheets accurately and timely.
- Troubleshoots data related issues in both UKG Pro and Workforce Dimensions.
- Generates manual checks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensures all payroll checks are distributed timely to the field.
- Researches and resolves payroll related inquiries from employees and management.
- Fully participates and ensures success of various projects as assigned.
- Demonstrates strong focus on team work and initiatives as well as manages daily payroll processing.
- Backup payroll supervisor and / or manager in their absence.
- Train new payroll specialist staff as needed.
Minimum Requirements for the Payroll Supervisor :
Accounting, Business, or similar degree required or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree5+ years multi state payroll and garnishment experienceDesire and capacity to work as part of a highly creative, energetic, and dynamic teamMust be flexible, detail oriented, motivated with a strong work ethicMust process strong communication skillsAbility to catch on quickly and cross train in fast paced, deadline driven environmentAttention to detail with great organization and analytical skillsAbility to exercise good judgmentCritical thinking ability to analyze and adapt to multiple issues / tasksKnowledge of benefits in relation to payrollWorking knowledge in Microsoft Office products and payroll software (preferred UKG experience)Demonstrates initiative, desire, and ability to handle additional responsibilitiesOther Qualifications :
Payroll Certification Preferred (FPC or CPP)
