Travel RN – Emergency Department Float Pool

Location : Syracuse, NY

Start Date : 12 / 05 / 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights / 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) / Every other weekend + some holidays required

Position Overview :

Seeking experienced RNs for the Emergency Department Float Pool. Registered Nurses will provide care to both adult and pediatric patients. Ideal candidates will have Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience and familiarity with EPIC.

Requirements :

Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience in an acute care facility of similar size and level

Current New York State RN license

BLS required

EPIC experience preferred

Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities :

Provide care to adult and pediatric patients in the ED setting

Perform clinical assessments and deliver treatments with minimal supervision

Float to various ED locations as needed

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
