Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Location : Syracuse, NY

Start Date : 9 / 19 / 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift Type : Nights

Shift Times : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Schedule : Every other weekend and some holidays

On Call Requirements : None

Job Summary :

Seeking experienced Night Shift RNs for the Adult Emergency Department. Candidates will also float to the Pediatric ED and other cross-campus AED units as needed. Must have experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients . Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications :

Current New York State RN license

BLS certification (current, with ability to recertify)

Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience within the past 2 years in a similar hospital setting

Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers required for travelers

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Duties :

Perform the majority of patient care skills and nursing assessments in the acute care ED setting with minimal orientation and supervision

Provide safe, high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients

Float across units as needed to support patient care
