Responsibilities :
Oversee the food service program, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.Maintain accurate records regarding income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment while utilizing HCSG's provided software.Provide staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; assist in the roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.Effectively communicate directives from client managers and building administrators to HCSG staff.Ensure personal safety by using protective gear and handling cleaning solutions properly; report equipment issues promptly.Adhere to infection control and sanitation standards, including regular handwashing procedures.Demonstrate timely attendance and complete tasks punctually.Promote HCSG positively through courteous interactions with coworkers, supervisors, clients, residents, and guests.Execute additional duties as assigned.Qualifications :
Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, with a focus on food service or restaurant management preferred.Two years of proven experience in quantity food production / service and personnel supervision preferred.Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred or as mandated by state and county regulations.Must obtain the Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment.Must acquire Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within the first 60 days of employment.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.Must maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff, residents, and management.Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.Candidates must be able to lift / carry up to 50 pounds and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.Ability to perform routine tasks consistently is necessary.Must be comfortable working around food and cleaning products.Basic computer skills for maintaining records and completing reports are required.Attendance in an approved sanitation and safety course may be required.Residency within the service area is mandatory.Ready to Join Us?
