Pharmacy Clerk / Assistant

Position : Pharmacy Clerk / Assistant

Location : Fort Worth, TX

Duration : 3 months+ Contract with high possibility of extension!!!

Pay Rate : $18.50 / hr

Note :

ONSITE role

Work Schedule : 9am to 6pm, with rotating Saturday rotation. (this is also a temp position)

Job Description :

The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with packaging and shipping of the drugs, supplies, and patient information according to company policies, procedures, and state board of pharmacy regulations. A list of essential duties and responsibilities, although not all inclusive, are as follows :

• HS diploma required
• Fundamental knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work as a team and collaborate accordingly
• Willing to work morning and / or afternoon shift required
• Flexible multi-task-oriented worker
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work on your feet for 95% of the day

Preferred

• One-year experience in mail service or specialty pharmacy dispensing preferred
• Experience with inventory management
• Excellent time management & organizational skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Innovative and continuous improvement mindset
